I love fashion, I especially love the abstract at times or being able to show things from a different perspective. I feel that as an artist if I can convey an emotion or message and if I can make the viewer feel something about the photo or have led to for him or her to think and ponder, then I have done my job. The emotions and message from the photos can be subtle, it can be playful at times. I like to use composition and color. I was an art major in college so many of my photos also stem from the kind of education that painters have when dealing with a blank canvas to play with. I have also years of experience as a photojournalist as well as a portrait photographer. I didn’t plan on delving into weddings. That just fell on my lap and I do enjoy it from time to time.
